Bryce Canyon 3D terrain model

Utah, USA

3D terrain model of Bryce Canyon with satellite imagery

About this model

Not a canyon but a row of natural amphitheatres on the edge of the Paunsaugunt Plateau, filled with thousands of limestone hoodoos. The hoodoos themselves are finer than the elevation data, but the scalloped rim and its amphitheatres stand out clearly.

The frame is 6.0 km across, centred on 37.6250° N, 112.1700° W. Open it in the editor to change the style, exaggerate the height, turn it into a circle, or move the frame — then download it for your 3D printer, as a poster or as a 360° video.
